Since our last post so much has happened, and we have so many exciting projects on the go, it’s hard to spend too much time on the social media part of the business.

The big news is:

-We passed framing inspection on our first New Build.

-We have a full time apprentice Kalum, someone Charlie has know for around 12 years, built furniture and chicken coops with way back then, and lived with his grandparents while completing his Red Seal and BCIT. Also someone every bit as passionate about the environment, and with a specialty in Fish Biology. It’s rare to have a 19 year old with 12 years on the tools, 2 years of Carpentry schooling, no care for social media, and a work ethic of beaver. That’s something we don’t take for granted e. In fact he’s already working on some of the regenerative aspects of our vision, seeing if there’s anything we can do to help the fish populations in Sakinaw, West Lake and gun boat bay estuary/river system.

We’ve also started a series of projects and an unofficial mentorship with a veteran Kiwi developer, Mike Flemming who shares our passion for Boating, and among other things, has developed $30million hospitals on the mainland.

We also were able to dabble with natural building for a hearth and fireplace surrounding, at the Regenerative Developments Headquarters, made with with locally sourced materials including Straw from wheat we grew partly as a joke so we could eat home grown Yorkshire puddings,

All this is to say, our schedule is full, the vision is burning brighter, and the stoke is high.
