Sometimes we hear commentary from The Sunshine Coast Community that it’s hard to find and retain competent people to show up and complete small jobs.

We believe this can partly be attributed to the local housing crisis and the costs of running reliable vehicles suitable carrying all the tools required for diverse jobs. This means that there aren’t generally sufficient workers to service the ever growing population of homeowners that need support on their property.

Of the cohort that meet criteria to be able to provide these services, most are already snatched up by the bigger contracting companies that up charge significantly in order to cover the increased overheads and thus prefer the simplicity of management to focus their efforts on bigger steady jobs.

Regenerative Developments sees this as an opportunity to do what’s needed, and we aspire to do this joyfully.

The way we do this ultimately comes from making it an economically viable model. We have 4hr/ Half Day minimum charge and we factor in travel time. We have to include $1 per km fuel and maintenance charge for vehicles, and certain tools such as Pressure Washers, and scaffolding have a rental fee to cover maintenance/replacement.

This makes the small jobs a viable addition to our services, and this means we can offer a reliable, and sustainable service.
